WARRANTY & RETURNS POLICY

1. General Warranty Coverage

  • All medical devices purchased from Medispec Medical Device Division are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, typically ranging from 12 to 24 months depending on the product.
  • The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended use.
  • Warranty does not cover:
    • Damage due to misuse, accidents, negligence, or unauthorized modifications.
    • Normal wear and tear (e.g., straps, padding, gel components, cosmetic damage).
    • Consumable or single-use items such as diagnostic tests, fever patches, or tissue adhesives.
  • Proof of purchase (invoice/receipt) is required for all warranty claims.

2. Returns & Exchanges

  • Products may be returned or exchanged within 7 working days of delivery if:
    • The item is defective, damaged during delivery, or incorrectly supplied.
    • The product is unused, in original packaging, with all manuals and accessories intact.
  • Returns will not be accepted for:
    • Opened or used medical consumables (diagnostic kits, fever patches, gels, etc.).
    • Customized or fitted products (e.g., orthopedic braces adjusted to user’s size).
  • To initiate a return, please contact our Customer Service Team at [insert email/phone] before sending back the product. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

3. Replacement & Repair

  • Once returned, products will undergo inspection by our technical team.
  • Depending on the assessment, the product will be:
    • Repaired under warranty, or
    • Replaced with a new or equivalent item, or
    • Refunded (if repair or replacement is not possible).
  • Processing time: 7–14 working days after receiving the returned item. 

4. Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method within 14 working days.
  • Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable, except for items proven defective or supplied in error.

5. Delivery Costs for Returns

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or wrongly delivered.
  • For bulky medical devices, we may assist with arranging pick-up; additional service charges may apply.

6. After-Sales Support

  • Certain devices (e.g., orthopedic braces, DVT machines, stimulators) may require fitting, calibration, or training. Our team provides after-sales support by appointment.
  • Warranty servicing or repairs may be carried out by us or the original manufacturer.
  • Out-of-warranty repairs and spare parts are available at additional cost.

7. How to File a Claim

  • Our team will advise on inspection, repair, or return instructions.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Medispec is not liable for injuries, indirect damages, or losses caused by misuse or unauthorized alterations of the product.
  • Our maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.
